At HenBea, we design and manufacture educational games, learning materials and teaching resources designed to make learning fun. We create products that encourage creativity, imagination, independence and the development of each child’s abilities, turning learning into a fun and meaningful experience.

Since 1986, we have been developing educational products with a clear goal: to help children discover and develop their full potential through play.

We are a Spanish company specialising in the design and manufacture of educational materials, using screen printing and laser cutting processes on plastic sheets. We manufacture products for our own HenBea brand and also collaborate with renowned European brands and companies in the education sector.

OUR STORY

HenBea was founded in 1986, inspired by a modelling dough made according to an old recipe from our Dutch grandmother, Henrietta Beata. Our brand name, HenBea, comes from her two names.

Since then, our passion for education and creativity has led us to develop more than 250 educational products for children, families, schools and education professionals.

The family business was founded by Yvonne Jarrett and Andrés Pardo, combining education, creativity and manufacturing to create innovative educational materials. Following Andrés’ passing, his son Bruno Pardo took over, continuing the family project. For more than four decades, HenBea has continued to design and manufacture innovative, functional and high-quality educational products in Spain for children and education professionals around the world.

EDUCATIONAL PRODUCTS WITH A PEDAGOGICAL PURPOSE

Every HenBea product is created with an educational purpose. We design games and teaching resources for early years and primary education, aimed at supporting different areas of children’s development and learning.

Our materials are inspired by different educational approaches and pedagogical philosophies, including Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences, as well as principles found in approaches such as Montessori and Reggio Emilia.

Through play, we develop skills such as:

Safety and quality are an essential part of our manufacturing process.

Our products comply with the European safety standards applicable to toys, including EN 71, and are designed for intensive, long-lasting educational use in schools and educational centres.
