The trimino, with 3 syllables instead of 2, offers more possible combinations than the domino: each one can be matched by 1, 2 or 3 sides.
Pairs of syllables have to be matched to form bisyllabic words. To extend children’s vocabulary and to increase the game’s possibilities, syllables may be matched in any order, and verbal forms and proper nouns are acceptable.
